The past...
Harlows past wasn't a good one. Her mother Stacy had been struggling with drug addictions already for a few years before she got pregnant with Harlow and she had burned down alot of bridges in her family and group of friends, no matter how many times everyone had tried to help her, she'd always relaps and getting pregnant with Harlow wasn't planned. Harlows mother was never sure of who the father was and if it wasn't for Stacy's mother and fater, she would have probably terminated the pregnancy. Stacy's parents tried to be there for her as much as they could for Halows sake but it never really worked out for too long. After Harlow was born, Stacy cleaned up her act for 4 months and spent this time at her parents but soon after that, she started to stay away for longer periods of time, leaving Harlow with her grandparents care. For 5 years Harlow mostly stayed with her grandparents who taught her all her basic needs, her grandfather taught her to read and it was the most stable time of her life but before she could start kindergarten, Harlows mom came to take her away, thinking she could give her a better life but it never was.
Halows life changed drastically after moving in with her mom. Her mom was still abusing drugs and that was her main and only concern most of the times. Harlow didn't go to any type of school, she never learned what she would learn at school like math, science and all the rest that comes with it. Her mom could never keep a steady job for longer than a week, so she would turn to more queastionable ways to get money for her addictions that Harlow always remaind blissfully unaware of because she was too young to understand. They moved around a lot and Harlow was never allowed to make friends, since her mother knew that if anyone would suspect that she had a child and was abusing drugs, Harlow would be taken away from her.
Harlow quickly learned to stay away when her mother would have those queastionable men over who would never treat her mother too well and never cared for Harlow being there. Her mother would be out of it for days at a time sometimes and that is when Harlow would need to take care of her mother and take care of herself. There were times when Harlow would need to remove needles from her mom, clean her vomit and make sure she got something to eat or drink. She'd sleep next to her mom when none of her friends were sleeping over just to make sure her mother didn't stop breathing.
Harlow would sometimes need to go out at night to search for food from their neighbous garbagecans because they could have their fridge empty for days.
Her life was lonely, dark and she had very little to no security and he only times she felt secure were the short times they'd spend at her grandparents house and it always made Harlow very sad when they needed to leave cause her mom would get angry with them. Her books were what kept her going and the fact that she could escape into other worlds and be whatever she wanted to be - those fantasy worlds were a lifeline to her.
Once Harlow turned 11, her grandparents died and this broke her heart, she thought she would never have a place anymore where she'd feel safe and secure but the death of her grandparents caused her mothe to rethink what was best for Harlow, putting her needs first for the first time in her life as she checked into rehab and made arrangements for Harlow to move to London and stay with her aunt Josie. Harlow was told that Josie would be her guardian from now on and that she would have the life that she needed and deserved and that her mother was going to be fighting and taking care of her illness. Even though Harlows mother wasn't going to be winning any awards, Harlow was still sad because she loved her mother dearly and wondered who would know how to take care of her now. It was a very big change in Harlows life and it overwhelmed her.

Before Australia...
Harlow moved to London and joined Josies family that included her wife Chloe and their 2 girls Ingrid and Aurora. Harlow was very quiet and shy the first few days and kept to herself but Ingrid was the first one to get her to come out of her shell because she was so little and cute and full of life as the whole family seemed to be. Harlow grew very attached to Ingrid right away and felt like a protective big sister to her almost instantly. Also all the pets in the house made Harlow feel very comfortable and allowed her to open up and feel more free as she has a deep love for animals and had always dreamt of owning pets. Harlow calls Josie and Chloe aunties and they have helped her to settle into her new life very well. Harlow loves the vibe and the joyfullness that she feels with them and is slowly starting to discover who she is and what it's like to have security and love and freedom. Harlow even started school for the very first time on her life which she was highly nervous about since she knew she would be way behind everyone a she had never been school before but her teacher Ms Burnett was so understanding and sweet and Harlow was able to do things at her own pace and no one in class made her feel bad about it - everyone was very nice and she was surprised how quickly she made some friends. Math is something she really struggles with but luckily Chloe is tutoring Harlow at home and is teaching her math, so maybe next year Harlow will do better at it at school - she is a very fast learner.
Harlow is still very overwhelmed and she is dealing with a lot of emotions and trauma but she will be going to therapy and with the love and support of her new family and friends, she is feeling hopeful for the future.

Australia: Harlow lives in Australia with Hunter after Hunter lost his wife and their child, he fell into despair and Harlow had developed a father daughter type of relationship with Hunter while Josie was with the military, so Harlow was concerned with Hunter's wellbeing, so she decided to move with him.
The character is dead, so she is not a playable character anymore but the status update is how I decided to roleplay it in the game.
